About the Dreamer STL

The Dreamer is a modern female bust made especially for display painters.

The bust has a simple design. I sculpted it this way because I noticed that painters often struggled to find a good miniature to do a face study. Many available miniatures are cluttered with accessories or fantasy details. I wanted to offer painters something without this kind of distractions

Dreamer’s long hair flows around her face and shoulders, creating shadows and natural highlights. A simple necklace at the neckline adds a subtle detail without distracting from the face. There are no armour pieces, fantasy elements, or fancy accessories to pull focus from your painting.

Her closed eyes and calm face remove a tough challenge in portrait painting: showing emotion through eye contact. This lets you concentrate fully on form and tone. You can work on her without the need to imagine a complex story or character.

Designed for skin painting practice.

Dreamer belongs to the Academic Busts collection. I sculpted this series to help painters practice skin tones, face painting, and controlling values. The sculpts are intentionally simple so you can focus on your work without distractions.

At 60mm (1/10th scale), The Dreamer is big enough for serious blending work without becoming overwhelming. She works well as your first serious face study and as a warm-up before larger projects.

Print-ready files

You’ll receive both a pre-supported version and an unsupported one. This lets you start printing right away or adjust the supports to fit your printer and resin. The model has clean geometry and prints well on most standard resin printers. It’s been test-printed on an Anycubic Photon Mono M7 Pro.
